DENVER — Nationwide CenturyLink outages Thursday impacted customers in Weld, Pitkin and Eagle counties, causing slow speeds and service disruptions, according to a Denver Post report. The outage was first reported early Thursday and continued into the evening. In a statement, the company said it was working to restore service to customers who were “still experiencing a disruption.” CenturyLink has yet to identify a cause for the outage. On Twitter Thursday Federal Communications Commission member Jessica Rosenworcel called for the government to look into the issue. “This is a nationwide outage,” she tweeted. “The @FCC investigation needs to start now.”
