Anadarko exec to chair Coloradans for Responsible Energy Development board

DENVER — Anadarko executive Carrie Horton has been named chairwoman of Coloradans for Responsible Energy Development, a group that advocates on behalf of the oil and gas industry. Horton, who started as a geologist in 2000, is Anadarko’s vice president of DJ Basin development, according to a report from the Greeley Tribune. She will replace Chip Rimer, who was hired in 2018 to serve as Whiting Petroleum Corporation’s chief operating officer, as chair of CRED, the report said.
